This is a good family trail, not too long, that ends with spectacular views of Crystal Bay and Kings Beach, and overlooks the Calneva Resort and the other stateline casinos.

Trailhead: Turn off NV28 beside the Biltmore Casino onto Reservoir Rd, then turn right onto Lakeview Av, drive up street until you see the green Forest Service gate on left.  Park on right shoulder.

Trail: Follow paved road to developed overlook.  Picnic tables and bathroom available. Walk up is not long or hard, although fairly steep.  Kids and strollers can make it with no problem.

Distance: 1.4 Mile Round Trip, or 1.3 mii to Kings Beach via connector

Hints: Instead of just an out-and-back, make it a shuttle by taking the Kings Beach Connector Trail on the far side of the Interpretive loop.

Trees: Jeffery Pine, White Fir and one magnificent Sugar Pine 200' on right at start of traill
