Taylor Creek Loop

Forest Service Visitor Center and nature area.  Good outing for the family.

Type: Loop

Trailhead: Park either in the Visitor Center parking lot, or out on CA89 where Taylor Creek crosses it.

Trail: Easy paved trail with little change of elevation.  Beautiful views if the creek, beaver dams and marsh meadows. Interpretive signage on the way..

Distance: 1.0 mi

Change in Elevation: ​  56'

Bikes: not allowed due to the number o pedestrians.

Hints: Recommend going there in the fall -- the aspens are turning, and in October, the Kokonee salmon are running.  Go to the bridge beside the creek to see the bright red salmon.  You may also see a bear going after the salmon.  Also, the Forest Service puts on a Fish Festival the last week of September or the first week of October.
