THURSDAY

• 5:00pm – course will be marked – ride at your own risk – trails are open to the public as well – please be courteous!

FRIDAY

• 2:00pm – 7:00pm Packet pickup, registration and drop bag collection
• Location: The Village at Northstar – Overlook Pavilion
  • Get your participant shirt, race plate and answers to your questions.
  • Photo ID is required
  • Packets must be picked up in person
  • Packets will not be mailed or given to others
• 3:45pm Athlete meeting
  • Race staff will run through final details, last-minute changes, course descriptions and other important information.

SATURDAY

• 5:30am – 6:30am Packet pickup and registration 
• Location: The Village at Northstar – Overlook Pavilion
  • Photo ID is required
  • Packets must be picked up in person
  • Packets will not be mailed or given to others
  • Drop bags (100k riders) – will be accepted at this time (see the Course section for details)
• 7:00am RACE START
  • Location: Bottom of Northstar Drive – Castle Peak Lot; 150 Northstar Dr, Truckee, CA 96161
    • Take the first right at the roundabout just off the highway to get to the start area.
    • Each athlete will self-position at the start line based on ability, with pros up front.
    • 100K and 50k riders will start together (with 100k riders up front followed by 50k riders).
    • PLEASE be honest with your start location as it is a safety measure for all athletes!
    • Space is first-come first-serve.
    • Do not leave your bike unattended in the start corral.
    • Parking – available at the Village view Parking Lot A. Riders will continue up Northstar Drive and into the Village before taking their tires to the trails.
  • 11:00am-5:00pm Finish Festival
    • Location: The Village at Northstar – Overlook Pavilion
      • Join us for music, local brews, great food and even better company
  • 2:00pm 50K Awards Ceremony
  • 3:15pm Official 100K Finish Time
    • Riders must finish by this time to be eligible for the Life Time Leadville Trail 100 MTB presented by Kenetik lottery
  • 3:30pm 100K Awards Ceremony & LT100 MTB Lottery
    • All awards will be presented at this time and must be picked up in person.
    • Awards will not be given to others and will not be distributed before or after the awards ceremony.
    • Stick around for an announcement to enter your ticket (attached to your race bib) into the drawing for your chance to win a coveted LT100 MTB slot.
    • Winners must be present to claim their spot, which they can utilize in 2025 or defer to 2026.

The 2025 Tahoe Trail is a qualifing event for the Life Time Leadville Trail 100 MTB presented by Kenetik.

There are a minimum of 35 LT100 qualifier coins up for grabs at each of the Tahoe Trail. Coin winners MUST BE PRESENT at the awards ceremony to receive their entry. Coin winners must complete and pay for their registration for the Leadville Trail 100 Bike during the designated time offered. All registration fees for the LT100 Run and Bike are non-transferable and nonrefundable.

The 35+ coins at each event will be distributed based on overall and age group performance, as well as an event lottery at the end of the awards ceremony. The performance based coins will be distributed to the top overall performances, as well as the top performances of each age category. If an athlete elects to not accept their slot, the coin will “roll down” to the next top athlete in their category. In the event that slots are not claimed after the roll down, they will be reallocated to the event lottery. The event lottery is available to all official finishers. Names will be drawn from all eligible and interested athletes to distribute these coins until none remain.

Only the 100k distance serves as a qualifier for the LT100 MTB.

Age group awards are determined by the athlete’s age on RACE DAY.

90 + Day Out From Event:

• Option 1: Receive a 60% refund on the entry fee.
• Option 2: Defer into the following year, pay a deferral fee of 40% of the entry fee.
• 100K Option 1: Receive a $84 refund.
• 100K Option 2: Defer into the following year, pay a deferral fee of $56.
• 50K Option 1: Receive a $63 refund.
• 50K Option 2: Defer into the following year, pay a deferral fee of $42.

89 Days or Less From Event:

• Defer into the following year, and pay a deferral fee of 40% of the entry fee.

No transfers.
